Interesting Solar Activity

Are you having trouble sleeping? SpaceWeather tells me

Yesterday, July 30th, a dark magnetic filament on the sun erupted and hurled part of itself into space. The Solar and Heliospheric Observatory tracked a bright CME moving away from the blast site at 700 km/s.

Although the CME is not coming straight for Earth, it does have an Earth-directed component. Computer models suggest it will deliver a glancing blow to Earth’s magnetic field on August 2nd. NOAA forecasters estimate a 30% chance of polar geomagnetic storms when the storm cloud arrives.

This is an interesting development, after the recent dead calm of Sol. Unlike his more typical eruptions, this in made of the energy-between-things, the force that holds the Universe together. I expect, rather than jangly rawness, an alert productivity and strong flashes of insight. Don’t get me wrong, either way, we’re probably not going to be sleeping much. This does seem much less uncomfortable than the usual solar storms though.

You probably want to take notes when the inspiration hits you, so you don’t lose the information. You’ll probably also be learning or seeing more Truth about yourself. Definitely drink more water, avoid recreational substances over the next 3-5 days, and make sure you’re meditating daily. This would be a good time to figure out the nuts-and-bolts of anything esoteric you’ve been chewing on.

Don’t overdo it. Give yourself spaces in between to recharge your batteries; Sun salutations will help with this, even if you don’t have a yoga practice. Eat a lot of protein and orange foods, keep your electrolytes up, and breathe slowly and deeply whenever you think of it. Maybe even remind yourself with alarms or post-it notes.

Amusingly, I already had scheduled a Singing Bowl meditation for Saturday evening. Seems especially fitting now.

May you embrace the Light of the World in all things!
May you embrace the Light of the World within Yourself!
