It is time.

It is time to reclaim our humanity. To take it back from those who oppress us,  from those who belittle us, from those who try to instill us with fear and hatred.

It is time. Time to re- empower ourselves. No one will empower us for us.

When we stand passively by and watch someone belittle another, we give up our humanity. When we silently cheer them on, we abandon our humanity. When we join in, we betray humankind.

It is time. Time to remember the middle way of compassion. Time to walk through our fears, rather than wallowing in them. Time to stop using our fears as an excuse for not doing the right thing. Time to be fully human.

Fear is no excuse.

It is time.
