Well, wasn’t January something?
I want to suggest this meditative exercise for you. When you get stressed, anxious, fearful, angry, or any strong emotion that we perceive as negative, you leave your body somewhat, your chemistry shifts, you have less control, and it’s easier to get broadsided (again).
That meditation is a way for you to take your power back.
Fear, shock, and awe is how some groups grab and maintain their power. A series of antagonistic, rapid-fire events will rock the general populace off their foundations. All the more so when those actions can be perceived as life-threatening. Even more so when enforcement is just nebulous ore vague enough that people can’t formulate an organized response.
But you can flip that.
Anger tells you what is important to you. If you use the passion of that anger as fuel to spur you into positive action, it’s not a negative emotion, it’s not disempowering, it’s not destructive – it’s just an energy. And when you transform it from an emotion into an energy, you free yourself from it, it no longer owns you, and you have extra power, not less.
Fear is the illusion of the absence of The Divine. “But where is The Divine in all of this?” you might very well ask.
The Divine Is.
And the Divine allows us to make our own choices.
What if this was an opportunity for us to learn, to experience, to strengthen our power, our sense of humanity, our very Divinity?
If we are truly gods/goddesses becoming (and that’s not an either-or), then we have a choice in every moment to expand or contract, to further or hinder our spiritual growth, to move closer to or further from our own Divinity.
Maybe THAT’s where The Divine is in this.
Maybe the Universe isn’t doing anything TO us.
Maybe we’re giving ourselves the opportunity to do, to create, something truly miraculous.
And if you operated on that assumption, what would your next action be?
