It’s Ba-ack

Also known as The Completion of Round One…

SpaceWeather tells me:

At the end of October, a hole in the sun’s atmosphere lashed Earth’s magnetic field with solar wind, sparking moderately-strong geomagnetic storms and almost a full week of Arctic auroras.  News flash:  It’s back. The same “coronal hole” is turning toward Earth again. Forecasters expect the solar wind to reach Earth during the late hours of Nov. 22nd with minor G1-class geomagnetic storms possible on Nov. 23rd.

So the weird alternate reality it feels like we’ve been in since the end of October should be shifting on Wednesday. The question is, so we go deeper, or come out of it? Your guess is as good as mine. No, really, it feels 50/50 to me.

What I do know is that Thanksgiving is bound to be disconcerting, for those of you who practice. You knew it was part of the National religion, right? Anyway, with a shift occurring the day before, whether we go deeper or come out of it, everyone will be off balance and it may take a few days (or a few weeks) to adjust. Heck, I was just starting to get a handle on this shift.

May the odds ever be in your favor.
