Election Day and a Plasma Cloud Cometh

This isn’t about me telling you to vote. You’ve figured out for yourself whether you’re going to do that or not. This isn’t me telling you who to vote for. Hopefully you’ve figured that out too.

SpaceWeather tells me:

SUN HURLS PLASMA CLOUD TOWARD EARTH: Yesterday, Nov. 5th, a magnetic filament on the sun became unstable and erupted. The blast opened a fiery canyon in the sun’s atmosphere and hurled a CME toward Earth. According to NOAA models, the plasma cloud could strike Earth’s magnetic field on Nov. 8th, triggering G1-class geomagnetic storms and auroras around the poles.

As you probably know from my previous posts on the subject, Solar Storms will make you “jangly.” My observation is that we’re all pretty jangly already, and that’s only going to be heightened here in the US on Election Day.

Look at the way they’ve phrased the alert, though. “Hurls,” “unstable,” “blast.” Remember that the star at the heart of our Solar System is mirrored by your own heart center in your body. Perhaps it is time to go within. Get quiet. Turn off the news, however it comes in for you. In fact, turn off all the electronics you can. Spend a moment focusing on your breath. Allow your breath to lengthen and slow. Feel the sensations of your inbreath and your outbreath. Put a hand on your heart center and acknowledge its existence. Open to it, and see what it needs right now. If Sol is any indication, not enough of us are listening, and it’s throwing a tantrum. So breathe, and listen.

Remember, also, that plasma in the body is a life sustaining thing. Maybe we’re not allowing ourselves to be fully present. Maybe we’re letting things drain our life force. Maybe we just need a little more oomph to get things done. I feel like perhaps I have done you a disservice in the past and given you the impression that we have an adversarial relationship with Sol, when really I’ve just been trying to help you better align with it. In any case, see if you can think about this particular event as a gift. Yes, do the things I generally recommend to help you weather it better, but also open to it and see what it can do for you.

You are the Light of the World.
