Energetic Fireworks

I posted this to Facebook last night, but I suspect that the festivities were keeping most people in the US off their computers…

A solar wind stream hit Earth’s magnetic field on July 4th, sparking a moderately strong (G2-class) geomagnetic storm. High-latitude sky watchers who receive this email before sunrise on July 5th should be alert for auroras. The hours around local midnight are usually the best times to look.

In addition to the possibility of pretty skies, the storm might be making people more sensitive – physically, emotionally, and intuitively. Beware of making more out of something than is warranted. Guard also against dehydration, and move slowly.

As usual, the effects of this storm will affect us for at least another day, so pull your energy inward, conserving it, and practice self-care.

A great visualization exercise for pulling your energy inward is to put your arms our as if you were holding the inner layer of your aura. In fact, picture yourself holding the inner layer of your aura (about 18 – 24 inches from your physical body). Then gently, slowly, pull/push that energy into your body, bringing it all the way into your hara line (the thread that runs up through the center of your body from head to toe). Feel yourself as a more concentrated energy. Do this several times a day for best results.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
