In looking at upcoming patterns, I see that this week will be off to an unusual (or at least interesting) start. The Full Moon is tonight (8:53 Pacific). At the exact moment she becomes full, she also moves out of the sign of Cancer and doesn’t move into Leo for over 24 hours. When the Moon is between signs, she is said to be in the Void.

The Moon rules out quiet selves, our emotions, our subconscious, our intuition. When she is full, we become more sensitive to everything around us and, if we’ve been less-than-conscious, we can get a little crazy. How that manifests is somewhat contingent on which sign the Moon is in at the time. If she is Void, we may feel unanchored and directionless, or we may start to hear our internal chatter more loudly. On the other hand, if we have been fairly attuned and grounded in our spiritual practice, we may become hyper-aware or intensely intuitive. Some people may experience both ends of the spectrum simultaneously.

I expect some interesting news stories on Monday, and I will be curious to see what my personal experience will be. Rather than panic or even fret, I urge you to adopt an attitude of detached curiosity. When you are aware of potential pitfalls, it is much easier to sit tight and observe, instead of letting the energies control you.

Remember, you are the Light of the World!
