Happy Holidays!
We have moved out of the intensity of October and November and into a place where we can muster some enthusiasm, looking ahead, and take a long-term view towards change. Hopefully you are hooked into that joy and anticipation; if you’re not, here are some helpful things to move you in that direction:
- Between now and the full moon on December 6th, spend 10 minutes a day grounding, breathing, and bringing your awareness and your attention into your heart center, in the middle of your torso, at the level of your armpits. Just connect with that space to the best of your ability and feed it by simply focusing your attention there.
- Take a good look at what is working in your life and what isn’t, and start to think about how to shift those things that aren’t working for you to things that are furthering you along your path. This can be as much about earning potential as it can be about spirituality, by the way.
- Think about the positives for you about this time of year. What brings you joy? Is it family? Decorations? Spiritual significance? Really connect with those aspects of the holiday season that resonate for you (and don’t worry if those things don’t resonate for others, that doesn’t matter).
We are embarking on a new 12-year cycle. What changes do you want to manifest? Are there changes out in the world to which you’d like to contribute? Are there things in your personal life that you would like to grow or cut away? What do you want your life to become over the next 12 years? What do you want your world to become over that time?
Winter Solstice and the New Moon are hours apart on December 22nd (Pacific). Since the influence of each spans several days, they can effectively be observed at the same time. Because of the influence of the Dark Moon on Solstice this year, it truly will be the darkest night. Consider holding vigil for the coming of the light, or in some way going into your own shadows, or perhaps connecting with your ancestors for guidance.
With all of this energy of Newness flying around, I will be offering two different ways to access the information and energies of the Tree of Life in the new year. The way I take people through the Tree shifts their energy and helps them to become more effective, as well as helping them to better understand how the Universe works.
- I am offering, for the first time, an online class in Kabbalah, starting January 13th. It will be webinar style, and I strongly recommend being on the “call” live, although there will be recordings available. The class for October will require you to travel to the Los Angeles are for an in-person experience.
- Beginning in February, my in-person Experiential Kabbalah class in Canyon Country starts over. Taking this class in person allows you to really connect with your classmates on a stronger level, and it’s quite amazing the bonds that can be created.
Both are monthly, both span one year. Students will come up with some real, measurable goals for change at the beginning of the course, so they have an easy way to guage their progress. I will caution you, however – do not start this process if you are not sure you want your life to change. People who have dropped out part way through have found themselves still undergoing energy shifts, without the support of the class and their cohort.
December is traditionally a slow time for me, professionally, and my attentions can be pulled elsewhere. If you’d like to book and end-of-the-year session with me, please allow enough lead time so you are not disappointed. My full list of appearances and classes is listed below.
May you be the Light of the World!
