Solar flare alert!
On April 25th, an active region near the sun’s western limb erupted, producing an impulsive X-class solar flare. A pulse of extreme UV radiation from the flare ionized Earth’s upper atmosphere and caused a shortwave radio blackout on the dayside of Earth. However, a CME hurled into space by the explosion will miss our planet. (Source: SpaceWeather)
You might find it useful to read this previous post, in which I go into some detail about how solar flares affect people and how to counteract those effects. This post might also be helpful, or this one.
This solar flare is a little different than some of the ones we’ve been dealing with recently, in that the radiation grazed our atmosphere without impacting us. What I’ve been observing, as far as behavioral effects go, is that people are either moving v-e-r-y-s-l-o-w-l-y or are feeling very impatient with the slow movers. Not much in between. I attribute the impatience to the radiation revving us up and making us feel expectant, with no follow through, like when you hear the squeal of tires in an intersection, but no crash. The slowness is because we’re feeling the radiation without the impact, and it’s dizzying. I, myself, have been feeling both all day, which is even more disconcerting. Some days, i really would like to a boring old accountant with zero sensitivity to energy, but this is apparently not my lot in life.
Grounding, moving slowly, drinking ample water, and being kind to ourselves and others still applies. In addition, though, it might be helpful to focus on not just reaching energetically down into the heart of the planet, but up into the heart of the sun at the same time, and holding that space, letting the energies bounce back and forth through you, until a balance is achieved. Make sure to hold the focus until that balance fills your entire form, every cell in your body. Chanting, humming, or sacred song might also help, as there’s a vibrative energy with this flare I’ve not felt with any of the others.
I would be very interested to hear back from people about their experience.
- How did you feel today?
- What was your experience out in the world?
- How did these suggestions work for you?
Blessings!
