Thankgiving and Solar Activity

While it is only a segment of the world that today celebrates a day called Thanksgiving, you might consider practicing gratitude no matter where you find yourself. We are experiencing major solar activity this week, which can put even the most saintly of folks on edge. Gratitude is the best antidote for discomfort I know of. When you add to the solar flares the fact that, in the US, people are either spending time in close quarters with the people who trigger them OR are otherwise dealing with family “issues,” there are a lot of people out there about to jump out of their own skin.

Other tools that help with discomfort related to solar activity include grounding, increasing your water intake, deep (slow) breathing, and pauing before acting or responding to anything. Compassion (remember, everyone else is feeling this way too) and gratitude are merely icing on the cake.

Whether today is just Thursday (or Friday) or you are celebrating with friends or family, may you have a blessed day.
