We are, as always, subject to the astrological and solar forces, the energy of ascension that envelops the planet, the powerful emotions of those around us, and any media we allow ourselves access to. But it is important to remember that we are Elohim, co-creators becoming, masters of our own destiny. This is a Free Will universe, and you can choose to be a victim to those things around you, or you can choose to ground and breathe and stand in your integrity and be empowered.
There are so many things going on, I hardly know where to start!
Time is speeding up, even as the energy slows for Mercury Retrograde. I will take this opportunity to remind you that Mercury Retrograde is nothing more than the break you are always asking the Universe for. It is a time to stop, breathe, get your feet back under you, and be conscious. It is a time to look at how you got where you are and see if there are any loose ends that need tying up. It is actually an excellent time for manifesting, because the energy is so thick and still, but you must be very present and very conscious. This particular Mercury Retrograde is in Sagittarius, which offers you the opportunity to take everything to a higher level, and to reconnect with nature and the circadian rhythms of the planet.
We are in Eclipse season; the last one was in June and July, which may have been noteworthy months for you. Take a moment and look back on what was going on during that time. Anything that didn’t get resolved and released then may be rearing its head for you again. Eclipses are, of course, about clearing out those things which no longer serve you.
Our current planetary energies mirror two spaces in our past: November of 1993, and the late 1960s. I have a hard time speaking to what that might mean for you personally, but 2 things stick out for me:
(1) The late 1960s was a time of huge global upheaval, and the time when many of the political patterns that are now falling apart were put into place.
(2) On a personal level, we are talking about the times of my birth and rebirth.
So think about what the values, patterns, and events that are pertinent to you from those moments in time, and see where they are mirrored in your life now, see what opportunities for change you are being offered, and how you can harness those energies to create a new world for yourself.
Because we are being offered the opportunity to re-create our world, our lives, our experience. Look around you, see what’s not working, and ask in meditation for some good alternatives. Go big. Ignore limitations or, if you can’t ignore them, bust through them! Think about alternative methods of valuation, different approaches to systems, possibilities for change in our interactions with each other. Start to envision and consider what freedom means to you. What is your utopia? What is a workable model of society for you?
Remember that karma is a conscious choice to hold on to events in our past, allowing ourselves to still be affected by them in a very heavy and real way. If it is a choice, what are other choices?
Everything is a choice, when you get down to it. Remember that. It’s empowering.
