We area little over a week from Mercury Retrograde, and the moon is waning. I’m already feeling the effects to the retrograde. This is a quiet time, great for contemplation, tying up loose ends, and evaluating where you are right now; it’s also great for cleaning out the closets or the attic! Bear in mind that Mercury won’t be going direct again until December 13th, which means your holiday mailings might be delayed – send them out early. It will certainly make for an interesting start to the holiday season, as Mercury actually goers retrograde on Black Friday (same day as the New Moon) – another reason to avoid the shopping crowds! It does have the effect, at least on me, of feeling very much like winter though.
In Other News…
I spent a good deal of time in the studio last week, and I’m hoping to release a download-only album of 12 different guided meditations, 5 of which are focused on pain management and relief. Hopefully this week, possibly next week. I’ll let you know. We’re doing the finishing touches on them now.
I’ve finally gotten a Goople Plus Page up, please feel free to add me to your circles if you’re over there. I’ll make an effort to have some unique posts there.
This past weekend, I hosted an overnight event out at The Integratron in Landers, CA. We had marvelous food, sat with the Oracle, and relaxed in their signature Sound Bath. Some of us went toodling up to Giant Rock after check-out (pictures on my G+ page). It was wonderful.
So I’m doing another one! The first weekend in February, there will be an Imbolc Retreat. I will be offering discounts for early sign ups, so keep your eyes open for my announcement that the registration page is up.
This week, I will be holding a Gratitude Meditation tomorrow night in Long Beach at Everyday Zen Relaxation Studio (RSVPs required) and Croning Circle in Northridge on Wednesday evening (RSVP for the address). Next week brings two Sound Bath Meditations, a Labyrinth Walk, and a New Moon Gathering. Click the Upcoming Classes & Events link for details.
If you’re in the United States, may your Thanksgiving holiday be filled with joy and abundance, or at least great food! The rest of you, have a lovely week…
