Solar Calm

I received this missive from SpaceWeather this evening:

Less than two weeks ago, the sun was peppered with large active regions.  Now, the face of the sun is almost completely blank.  Suddenly, the sunspot number and the sun’s x-ray output have dropped to their lowest levels in years.  Is Solar Maximum finished?  Probably not, but the ongoing quiet spell is remarkable.

I will point out that we are, at the same time, transitioning out of a super-full moon.

The symbolism is interesting. The conscious mind and the outward, public persona go suddenly still, as the inner dreamer-self winds down from a very public display of its full glory. And we transition into the waning moon, when we are inherently more private and introspective.

Of course, it also reminds me of what Californians like to call Earthquake Weather – everything goes dead calm, like the entire world is holding its breath, in anticipation and dread of a large earthquake. What is Sol holding his breath for? What storm, what shakeup, is coming? Or is he just politely letting Luna have her moment of glory?

This seems like a good time for powerful journey work, transformational introspection, and lasting life change. How will you use this energy to your advantage?
