About Ceremony

How do I RSVP for a ceremony?
You may email Ayamanatara to RSVP. If a ceremony is at a bookstore or healing center, you can usually call them to RSVP. As always, if you have RSVPed and your plans change, it is courteous to let Ayamanatara know as soon as possible to not expect you.

What should I do to prepare for a ceremony?
Doing some research on the reason for the ceremony can help put you in the right frame of mind, although Ayamanatara always does her best to set the tone at the beginning of the evening. Wear something festive, if you have a chance. There aren’t generally any special preparations you need to make, unless the event listing says otherwise.

What should I bring to a ceremony?
You can bring a seven-day candle to carry the blessing home with you after ceremony. Check the event listing for other things to bring. Firewood is always a nice donation for New Moon Gatherings. The suggested donation is $20 for Solstices, Equinox, and the cross-quarters, and $15 for New Moon Gatherings, but no one is ever turned away due to lack of funds.

Please see the Potluck page for more information on food contributions.
