How do I RSVP for a ceremony?
You may email Ayamanatara to RSVP. New Moon Gatherings have their own Google Group you may RSVP through. High Holy Day ceremonies are frequently at The Crystal Matrix Center; when that is the case, you can call them at 323-644-7625 to RSVP. As always, if you have RSVPed and your plans change, it is courteous to let Ayamanatara know as soon as possible to not expect you.
What should I do to prepare for a ceremony?
Doing some research on the reason for the ceremony can help put you in the right frame of mind, although Ayamanatara always does her best to set the tone at the beginning of the evening. Wear something festive, if you have a chance. There aren’t generally any special preparations you need to make, unless the event listing says otherwise.
What should I bring to a ceremony?
You can bring a seven-day candle to carry the blessing home with you after ceremony. Check the event listing for other things to bring. Firewood is always a nice donation for New Moon Gatherings. The suggested donation is $20, but no one is ever turned away due to lack of funds.
